SCULPTRA

Sculptra is an injectable cosmetic filler that contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible synthetic substance that works to restore the support and volume of youthful looking skin. Sculptra works with your body to stimulate collagen production lost to aging, rebuilding and reinforcing your skin’s structural foundation.

BENEFITS

Long-Lasting Results: Sculptra's effects can last more than two years, making it a cost-effective option for long-term facial rejuvenation.

Natural Look: Because it stimulates natural collagen production, the results look incredibly natural and subtle.

Minimally Invasive: Sculptra is a non-surgical treatment with minimal downtime, allowing you to return to your daily activities quickly.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR VISIT

Consultation: During this session, your skin's needs and your aesthetic goals will be assessed to create a personalized treatment plan.

Treatment Sessions: Sculptra typically requires a series of treatments spaced about 4-6 weeks apart. The number of sessions needed varies based on individual needs and desired results.

Results: Unlike traditional fillers, Sculptra's results appear gradually. You will begin to notice subtle changes in your skin’s texture and volume after a few weeks, with full results typically visible within 3-4 months.

POST-TREATMENT CARE

IMMEDIATE AFTERCARE

Gently massage the treated areas for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days. This helps to distribute the product evenly and reduce the risk of nodule formation.

Use ice packs on the treated areas for the first 24 hours to reduce swelling and discomfort. Wrap the ice pack in a cloth to avoid direct contact with the skin.

Refrain from applying makeup for at least 24 hours to minimize the risk of infection and irritation.

FIRST FEW DAYS

Steer clear of vigorous exercise, heavy lifting, and activities that cause excessive sweating for the first 24-48 hours.

Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and support the healing process.

Protect your skin from direct sunlight and avoid heat exposure, such as saunas and hot tubs, for at least a week. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher if you must be outdoors.

FIRST WEEK

Continue to massage the treated areas as instructed to help the product integrate smoothly into your skin.

Use gentle skincare products and avoid any harsh or abrasive treatments, such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or retinoids, for a week.

It’s normal to experience some swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness in the treated areas. These side effects should subside within a few days. If you experience any severe or unusual symptoms, contact your healthcare provider.
